So today begins great... Wifey off to do battle with management at the bargining table... There will be blood spilled for sure..... So as I'm off for breakfast I notice a wet spot on the lawn that tells me the main 4 inch line is plugged up again with roots... Gees... I just cleaned it about 3 months ago.... So I need my truck.... Nope... Something is wrong with the starting circut. I have been checking things and the starter is fine... So is the alternater. All the cables and connections are clean and tight... So I call interstate about the warranty on my batterys.... They are 49 months old on an 85 month warranty... So thats $1.88 per month I need to pay for a new battery or I owe $92.29 per battery.... Damn... I want the group 31 but no time for the modes... So I bite the big one and get another set of 85 month group 65 batteries....
So its off to the bank to deposit a large check.... Nope...Banks are open but today is a holiday.... Columbus Day... Gess... So I work a deal and they advance me $3000.00 and the rest will be available on Wednesday... Didn't need it but wanted it... So now I'm home... Batteries are in and the truck jumps to life at the slightest turn of the engine.... Life is looking better and better... Now off I go to rent a 100 ft main line drain cleaner.... All they have is a 1/2 or 3/4 inch cable with a 2 inch cutter head... I have a 4 inch main... So I take it and sharpen the blade and cut the hell out of the roots.... The line is full of water and..... As it begins to drop down I start the tub with hot water to wash out any cuttings. I went 75 ft and that puts me in the main underground sewer street mains... So its clean again. Job done quickly. Returned the rentel and home for lunch finally. Truck starts clean and quick once again. I have a good set of cables... A great gear reduction starter turning quicker than I can count. A good alternater so... What else is sneeking around to mess with me....
