a gm is an option would have the 6.5 or you could get the dmax but early ones had their problems. i just dont like the ifs.. pretty much just ford or dodge at that point.
Eventually, if I dint go 6.7 psd, I'll go 6.6. Should have kept that lml instead of getting the 6.0.... lol
That ifs will give less trouble than the durge.

I always hated the IFS in my 97. To be fair, I beat the hell out of it. If I was nice to it I don't think it would have given me any trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to go IFS on a daily driver, but I wouldn't do it if I was going to lift it and run trails either.

6.0 around here in Arkansas aka semi truck country is about 12-15k for a mid milage one.

My dream diesel is a lifted ratrod body has to be at least 1940's or earlier

Been thinking a lot about trading the 6.0 in for a either a 6.6 LBZ or a 6.7 psd
LMLs are $$$$ and LMMs are fugly.

Then there's the cUmInGGs tRoK..sure, only I'll push a chevy before I drive a turdge LOL

The third gen dodges are really good pulling trucks, however I own and upgraded 2 idi's for half the purchase price of one around here. Hard to beat a 6.7 Cummins with a 6 spd, till the dodge it sits in breaks.
