New to me, 87 F250 XLT Lariat 4x4 5 speed, 6.9 Banks power pack hat.

Back story, I am the third owner 50,300 original miles. Relative bought it 99, and since 2003 it has been parked. Mice have been nibbling the wires on and off.

What I have done so far is changed all the oil, oil filter, plan for one more change soon, minus power steering and front diff (needs the cover/housing gasket) and fuel filter. Replaced the front brake hoses (dry rot) belts and injector return lines. Cleaned the CDR valve Cleaned the K&N air filter and the cooling system.
I am waiting for the cooling filter kit from Summit and a new OE thermostat from rockauto.

I have new shocks, radiator hoses, wiper blades, battery's and a Chilton manual (kinda sucks).

I still need to check wheel bearing, u joints and rear brakes.
I figured out that I need to fix the pickups in both tanks.

What else should I check?
I have to say this site does have a ton of info, Thank You!

O.K. onto the questions and pics.

Is this a Banks exhaust?

Just pics. And I have only washed the r rear bed side. No wax yet. I haven't put 10 miles on it yet. Goal is to use it as a tow rig, and maybe light off road recovery.

Where can I find a replacement plug?

Should I do anything to the stock air cleaner housing? It has been modified, forgot the name? Cut the bowl out?

I think a chain came loose in the snow. The rest is the crappy factory paint.

Welcome to the forum. About the rock auto oem thermostat.... No way.... Buy only from Ford or international... Nothing else will work. Many will fit but they just can't flow the same amount of coolant thru them. The factory oem thermostat opens at 192 degrees. Nice low mileage truck you got there. Yes... That looks like the Banks muffler.

It was listed as the same Ford part number that I found here.
They had like nine different ones, but from my searching here the one I ordered should be correct. When it shows up, I will take a pic and verify with you guys. Thanks.:D

What about the Y pipe? I do not know what the stock pipes look like, I just want to find out what I have. Any links?

First off welcome and what a nice truck-Drool That thing almost looks like its been in a time capsule. I am definitely not 100% certain that's a factory Y pipe. The "Y" section is a welded joint if I remember in a factory pipe. Good luck with your ride, seems like you are covering all the bases well.;Sweet
