Hi, i just recently bought a 1993 f250 4x4 auto. I love the truck so far, has a few things that need touching up but all in all a great truck. Came with a warn front bumper and hydraulic winch with it. The winch doesn't work at the moment but i dont know anything about them. Just bought and installed a junior moose pump on it new glow plugs and relay. turbo in the near future.

Welcome to the forum. Hydraulic winch? Thats nice. I don't think you have any use for that, you should take it and the bumper off and give it to me. Lol. Does it run off a pto on the trans or transfer case? If so is pto engaged? Nice looking truck.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking rig and nice to learn you know about Moose Pump products. They are hands down the best injection pump for the idi engines. That statement is proven time and time again. Conestoga Diesel Injection is a world wide company known far and near to be the best. Its family owned and run too.

Thanks for the shout out, it's been an interesting couple of evenings. Wednesday saw the installation of the moose junior, while earlier today saw installation of ZD9's and a new glow relay.

It runs off pressure from the power steering pump. There's a solenoid valve set that either taps into or diverts away pressure from the steering box.

The solenoids appear to be disconnected, we have no documentation, and the user controls aren't readily apparent. We're still trying to make heads or tails of the situation.

Is that a mile marker winch since it works off the power steering? I've seen that truck on Craigslist in north west ga....

That's probably the one, it's out of Ringgold, near the Tennessee border.

Mile marker, that gives us something to work with, I appreciate it.

Okay. Thats new to me, I have never saw that setup. All the hydraulic winches I have dealt with run off a pto. I wouldn't of thought ps pump would have enough volume to run a winch, but you lean something new. Keep us updated.
