Make sure that you get yourself a boost and pryo gauge set...and watch them closely. This is going to be the determining factors in how much fuel you can put into an engine and not blow it apart.

15 PSI is pushing it, but I wouldnt boost to 15 PSI on an older set of head gaskets without it bothering me. Th epyro should NEVER read above 1100*F. You shouldn't really hit either of these numbers with a slight tweaking of boost and fuel, but be careful!

Intercool the pig for best results!!!

Well ice racing is over here(never really got started because of the poor winter). Finally got a little time to tinker these past couple of weeks. Started on the body. I replaced one fender for rust, cut and welded in a couple of other spots but over all the truck was in pretty good condition. Got it sprayed this weekend, will be sandblasting the frame this week, undercoating it and trying to make it to the spring shop to fix the sag in the front (if time allows).

Some more pics of the fun body work! Didn't get any pics while it was in primer or when I was finished block sanding. I forgot how much work it was to paint an older truck.
Won't be putting the molding back on but will do some pinstriping and also replace the chrome fender trim. Would love to find a nice set of factory aluminum wheels at a decent price otherwise some Eagle 589's are going on (I hate the backspacing of aftermarket wheels).

Got her put back together, just have to undercoat it and find some nice 4x4 stickers. I have a appointment at the spring shop next week to put new heavier duty springs in the front, then all new shocks.

How's the exhaust coming, its on my to due list.

sitting in the box in my garage LOL. truck is sitting outside, turbo less. it's cold and halfway snowing, don't feel like laying on the gravel either. need to get a welder, then modify my DP and exhaust outlet on the turbo. once i get the turbo back i will push the truck in the garage and put the exhaust on so it all lines up good.

I have to get this miss fixed then I need to get up to the shop and build my Dp ( I have a bunch of left over SS from race sleds). Just haven't been real excited about working on a rusty old exhaust LOL!

Newbie

Hi all.

Here's my new toy.

You must be registered for see images attach

1991 Ford e350 Super Van - 7.3L Diesel IDI

She's only got 80K original miles.

Bought her on eBay, flew out to Mississippi and drove her back to San Diego where I live.

Fun fun fun but a few things I'm working on I'll definitely need help with. Nothing like my 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback!

Cheers.

Curtis

Right now the plans are up in the air as the wife just started her new job & I start my new job in about 3 weeks so we haven't made plans for the fourth. I would love to come for the dyno day, but should have a better idea in the coming weeks. Its been a crazy year so we will see.
