Hello all. I will soon be acquiring a 1993 or 1994 f350 4x4 cc flatbed. I haven’t been on the Forumn since o sold my baby. My 1991 f350 Idi 4x4.
So, my question is probably a weird one. I want to know if it’s possible and sufficiently easy to swap an OBS doghouse to a Bricknose (1987-1991). I tend to live the ugly ducklings and thee truck are no exception.

The front clip with the fenders, grille and hood? If you've got all the parts it's a bolt on if I recall correctly. You'll need the correct radiator support for the style you use.

last time I checked, most everyone else in the free world calls that a "front clip" :D
if you were is the bodyshop and wrecking yard business, that is accepted terminology. so is left side cut, right side cut and rear clip. I tend to refer the rear as a butt cut and they still understand.
communication. as long as both sides are understanding the same thing.....it's all good.

Well I have always heard it called a doghouse. I’m not sure why it’s so important to belabor the point but either way.
Is it a direct bolt in job to change the front clip from OBS to a Brick nose?
Has anyone heard of doing this?

i went from a brick to OBS on one of my towtrucks.
essentially a bolt-on. there are minor issues that need some ingenuity but not impossible.
like the fender mounting tab onto the body, an "L" may need to be added or the tab will need to be beat flat. wiper cowl will need to be changed too.
i took pics of the changeover, but for the life of me, I don't know where it's at.

That’s terrific. I just wanted to know it was somewhat bolt in. Now I just need to find a brick nose “front clip”! Lol

I don't know why you would want to "down grade" to the brick front end.
You lose headlight options... lol

here's the opposite.....brick to OBS :D
only way you can tell is the "bar" on the SC window.
also retained the enforcer bumper that came on a brick. got a hole to fill. have yet to do.
it's a work mule. "pretty" isn't essential.
