I am interested in ditching my 2 stock tanks for 1 bigger one. Maybe 30-45 gallons. Where is a good cheap place to find one or did any trucks come with one big as opposed to 2 smaller.

I wonder if any of the ones from the current truck models would fit? The one under my Excursion seems like it should. :dunno

From their home page....

15 gal. for Diesel Exhaust Fluid & 45 gallon Diesel. This will allow you to carry 15 gal. of Diesel Exhaust Fluid so you are never stuck without it on your long trips.

LOL :rotflmao LOL :rotflmao LOL :rotflmao LOL :rotflmao :puke: :puke: :puke:

OK, I know this is off topic, but who would have known that one day, you would need to increase the size of your exhaust fluid tank? :***: Next think you know, they are going to invent trucks that need light bulb fluid. What could possibly come next but left handed toilets and 3 dollar bills? The world is really going to hell in a handbasket.

I got my left handed toilet and light bulb fluid from the local walmart....apparently they sell EVERYTHING there.

I hear ya Mel, it's getting bad when you need to add exhaust fluid to a truck to make it run....most of the new big trucks have that urea BS on them....it's pretty insane.

The Excursion came with a 44 Gallon tank in the very rear. I wonder if the "box" created by the frame in the rear is the same size on the Pre-SuperDuty Trucks as the 99+ SuperDuties... The only thing is you will loose your underbed spare, since the Ex is mounted inside the rear cargo area......

A 44 in the rear and if it would fit, a ~38 from a 92+ E-Series Van, would be a great combo...... Dad's 94 has that tank... and it is a midship tank in the vans.....

I am not sure.... The next time I am around the van I will have to crawl under there and look to see what area it "consumes"
