1983 Ford F250 RWD - Hello everyone! I hope your NEW YEAR opened up to a great start!

I'm looking to add a sump to my rear tank. Come to find out it is not the original tank. The flat area to place the sump is smaller than the typicall 3" area for the market sumps. Flat area is 3" by 2 3/4". Any Idea where I can find a smaller sump that could fit in that size area? Is going to a smaller size be a problem with fuel starvation? Any ideas, or direction where I can find one would be greatly appreciated! Tnx!

I'm no help on finding a sump, but I don't see how a smaller one would cause fuel starvation. As long as your lift pump can meet the engine's demands, you'll be fine.

I used the 3 inch sump on mine, with the smaller flat area, if you center your hole the o ring that seals it sits on the flat, the only thing overhanging is aluminum. I was still kind of nervous about it and added a bead of black silicone but it's been leak free for 3 years.
