I have to question all the talk about a K&N dusting a turbo... I ran a K&N FIPK on my 99 until I sold it with right around 150,000 miles on it...
I never once had dust on the other side of the filter... And anyone who knows what I do for fun knows that we are in the dustiest siltiest places on earth.... infact I was once pulling the race truck out to the highway to put on a trailer after breaking, through about a mile and a half of 1.5-2ft deep silt... at one point I lost all power because the silt was 1/2" thick on my filter.... its was trying to suck air t othe point that it twisted the element around and down like a soda can that was stepped on..
If your dusting a turbo because you have a K&N your not doing something right..
