Hey if anyone got new delphi's, check your pop pressures.

I noticed the truck didn't sound nearly as knocky as it did before. I pulled one injector out and had my buddy test it. dropped about 150psi.

So i'm gonna pull the rest of them out and pop test them, shim them if needed.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

They have about 5K on them.

Thats really the standard for the injector springs to sag like that. Mine did the same thing so I shimmed them. I bought them from russ about a year ago. They were not the uhaul sets. You are going to need plenty of 1 thousands shims so harvest the shims from junk injectors if you have any. Mic them and set up a supply. Each 1 thousands shim equals around 50 to 55 lbs increase if your adding shims. So that pulled injector needs 3 thousands shim to make 1850. Its got to be a completely clean work area too. I use a pencil magnet to reach up in the injector body to insure all the shims drop out. See my injector pop testing ans shimming video I posted on this forum about 2 months ago. Any junk injector will have several differant shims in it.

got a buddy to do it all for me. He has an injection shop. I need injection services while he needs his rear end rebuilt.

Wow that sounded wrong.

Wow... Thats easy to shim then. Just 8 shims that are 4 thousands thick will do it.
