It actually took me a few seconds to comprehend what I was looking at. I'd like to blame it on the fact that he's a PowerStroke driver....... He pays me good money to fix stuff after it breaks.

No, the drum didn't break. The brake shoe backing wore completely through the cast iron!

I just asked him if he wanted me to check the fronts, he said he just had them done... I dunno!!

You'd think that someone like that would take better care of his equipment  Even my ex-girlfriend would know better than to do that, and she perfectly fits the definition of "airhead"...

How did the axle seals make out? Looks like it would have smoked them with all that heat.

maybe he got some sand in there, had that happen to me once 4 wheeling. sand eats brakes like nobodys business. wore my brakes out so fast they fell apart internally on the drive home after some sandy swamp fun in the pine barrons. try driving the scukill express way with only front brakes:eek: . found out that ticking clanking was my self adjuster parts flying around inside the drum. gave me a good excuse to upgrade to 4 wheel disks.:D
