After a full night of sitting it has a hard time starting. I have air intrusion SOME where but I can't figure it out.
Here is what I know :
- It takes all night for it to have issues.
- If I park with the nose DOWN it starts up fine.
- The filter head has pressure in the morning. It doesn't spray fuel but does have noticeable pressure.
- I pulled the return line that crosses over in front of the intake. It made pressure relief sounds and was full of diesel.
- I do have a visible fuel leak somewhere around the IP. It is wet under the IP belly, before the hard lines.
- Fuel mileage is roughly 16mpg
- It has a new return line kit from Russ with viton rings.
- No wet lines or signs of returns leaking fuel out.
- It started somewhat recently, after I had been bumping around messing with the IP.
My first thought was I bumped a line loose. I cannot find any leaks and as I said, the cross over return line had pressure. Now I'm thinking my fuel leak is causing it , they started having issues around the same time. I just cannot figure out where I'm leaking fuel. I had thought it was a loose hard line at the IP but it is not wet at any connection. It is wet before the hard lines on the belly of the IP. The fuel screw door is not leaking.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as always
