When I first got my truck last summer she was eating 2-3 quarts of oil per 1000mi, I wasn't too happy, but over the last 400 miles I havn't needed to add anything, it used to be 1+ quart per fuel fillup perhaps the long nap wasn't something the 'ol fat bottom girl wanted, PO was the origional owner of 20 years and the last several years the truck mostly sat out in the cold
