My truck got hit in a parking lot. So it's been in a body shop for 10 days or so getting fixed. The body shop can't have a paint booth where they are (Calif laws again
) so they "Borrow" one a few blocks away. The body guy was taking it to the paint booth and he stopped by my work with it for me to check out.
Looks real good to me considering how smashed the side was.
He comented on how well the N/A 6.9L runs. He says mine will run circles around his 7.3L. I told him that we can do "some things" to wake his up
The damage sucks but I'm blessed that it was in a parking lot and not a t-bone or any other crash at speed. This was done by one of those 6 wheeled carts at Home Depot. Someone left one where I could not see it. Must have had part of it under my truck. I got the HD guys to lift the RR of my truck up with a forklift so I could pull the cart out from under my truck as it was jammed under it when I backed up. Lessen learned...Walk around before getting in as I did not see it in my big mirror or the spot mirror.
