Ok, I FINALLY got around to getting my IC hooked back up. I had to order some silicone couplers and and mandrel bent chunk of stainless to make it happen, and the UPS man was a bit slow getting it all here.

I also shortened the wastegate rod a few more turns, in an effort to bring the boost up a little, but all I did was keep it at the same level as before the IC was hooked up. I'm thinking that I just have a little pressure drop across the IC, as I'm pretty confident that my IC piping isn't leaking. I'll likely tinker with that actuator rod a bit, or get a cheap electronic boost controller and use it so I can adjust the boost on the fly...

I bet it might boost a little better if you ditch that airbox in favor of a tymar style intake.

Suprisingly, it boosts great through that airbox. I was pushing 6-7 PSI no problem before the intercooler hookup today. I shortened the wastegate actuator rod 1.5 turns, and still get the same boost, so I figure that is normal pressure drop across the IC. I'll wait until the thing cools off and give it another 2 turns and see what I get. I don't want to shorten it too much and damage the WG actuator by constantly preloading the spring too much...

Right now it's just got the Fram that came in the ATS kit in the airbox. I've not decided what to do for a filter yet. I'll likely just keep the airbox on there, and install the factory plastic ducting back onto the truck. Everything fits so nicely with the ATS kit, I hate to screw with it. I still haven't installed the ATS valve cover on the drivers side- and haven't made up my mind yet if I will. I still have the CDR plumbed to the Banks IP cover adapter which seems to be working great. I'm gonna shoot some grey paint at the valve cover, and maybe I'll get adventurous and install it one of these days.

I have to tinker with the boost level still- it's still a little low for my tastes, but the truck runs great and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Well,I turned the WG rod in another 2 turns, and still don't have much more than 7psi. My next step is to pinch the WG reference line and see what kind of boost it makes with the WG shut. I'm wondering if I have a boost leak in my IC plumbing somewhere. It just seems like it should be making more boost than it is right now. I don't have a good way to check the intake hat seal against the intake manifold, except to look for that tell-tale black oily residue from the CDR vapor, and as of now, there isn't any. I installed the intake manifold gasket I got from 6NebraskaIDI's rather than the factory ATS gasket, as his was thicker and looked like it'd seal better.

If I remember right it was something like 3 turns per PSI (that might be a PSD thing though :dunno).

Do like you were saying and plug the wastegate and see what it will do ;Sweet. The way mine boost I have no doubt it could go 12psi+, it gets to 8psi real quick.
