yep aquired a PERFECT dana 60 for $200! ;Sweet;Sweet:D it was outta a airport security truck, i don't think it was ever in 4x4! :rotflmao the balljoints, tie rod ends, u joints and bearings are PERFECT! the R&P are perfect, no wear marks even, the fluid was clean, see through clean! LOL and it matches the rear 3.54s. so i guess it was a good find. cookoo

now the parts list! all the steering is there, but the tie rod end to the box is not there and the threaded adjuster is cut, can i just order both of them for a '93 f350? the track bar is cut, i need the bar and bracket any ideas? i'll call the ;ocal jys monday but i havent seen any 350's. there is no u bolt plate on the driver side, obviously it's different than the IFS where can i get one? and lastly will the brake/bearing/calipers work off the IFS? the bearing nuts are gone on the driver side.

pretty mch this should bolt in then right? :dunno

Thanks guys!!
-Jon

& I thought I did good for $500 for one in about the same shape shipped to my door for $500....LOL

Yes don't reuse your F250 steering on the dana 60, it's not ment for it. Spend the money & get new stuff for a F350.

the track bar is cut, i need the bar and bracket any ideas? i'll call the local jys monday but i havent seen any 350's.

Go to the Ford dealer & order one, you will have to sit on the computer with them for a few mins & point at it. There are 2 of them, one has the swaw bar mount attached to it & the other doesn't. You want the one without the sway bar mount, that is for a superduty.

and lastly will the brake/bearing/calipers work off the IFS? the bearing nuts are gone on the driver side.

The calipers, rotors are diffrent. I have 2 sets off Dana 50 TTBs & neither one would work they are too small. The bearings WILL work though as will any set of locking hubs off a Dana 50 TTB. ;Sweet

pretty much this should bolt in then right? :dunno

Yes it's a simple job once the TTB junk is off.

Thanks guys!!

Oh BTW a dana 50 spindle & a dana 60 spindle are NOT the same. I pulled one off & checked it with a 50 & the 60 is more HD & little bigger.

Hope that answered a few of your questions.

well i only need the panhard bracket, the guy i got the rear from found the u-bolt plate. if you find it let me know, i work in tobyhanna so it's only a few minutes away.

oh and i'm not 100% sure, will the TTB spindle nuts work in the 60?

does anyone know where i can get a pitman arm tie rod end for under $90? autozone by me doesn't even carry them, advance can get a moog for $91 :puke:. A&A was closed but i'll check tomorrow.

Thanks

The spindle nuts should be the same, use anti seize before you put them on.

I got all my steering parts from auto zone, it's not listing it online but I know they can get it.
