Well driving home from work today with a loaded down truck when I started getting lots of vibration from the drivetrain. Pulled over crawled underneath and shook the drive shaft at the differential and its all kinds of loose. I've replaced all my bearings and joints except for the diff. Im looking for a correct part number and advise on changing the yolk. I assume thats my issue is warn out bearings there. Its a dana 60 with 4.10 gears. Any advice is welcome.

If we are talking about the diff that is in the picture, that is the rear diff and is a 10.25. Front is a d60.
Yoke may have come loose....very common. But....those strap bolts are loose.....

I don't trust simply re-tightening a yoke if it's come loose (in a crush sleeve diff). Might get you by until parts show up, if driving nice.

Changing pinion bearings means tearing the diff down. (Well, not the hub bearings.) Get a crush-sleeve eliminator along with any bearings it needs.

I don't know how it happened but the strap bolts where backing out on me. Tightened it all back up, seems fine....weird stuff.

Yes Loc-tite! I use the blue and the orange Loc-tite on lots of things without causing much difficulty during disassembly. So far I haven't needed the red.

It is weird that those bolts would simply back out on their own. I would double check the u-joints for play. I had a sudden vibration while driving and it was a u-joint about to let go. Maybe check the driveshaft carrier bearing too.
