Moving fuel filter head

So I'd like to move the filter head on the engine so I can run a cold air intake off of the turbo. My idea is to move it forward 4 or 5 inches. The hard part is what to do with the fuel lines. I'm thinking of have 2 hydraulic hoses made up. One from the lift pump to the filter head, and one from the filter head to the IP. Does this sound right? Also does anybody know the size of the fittings on these lines?

you can just cut the metal lines from the fuel lift pump to the header and from the fuel filter head to the ip, and use regular rubber fuel hose, there not under but about 6psi there

Yeah I was just thinking about that. Do you think they would be alright if I just flared the metal lines and clamped rubber fuel line to them? I also want to put a pressure gauge in there too. I think after the lift pump but before the filter would work the best, correct?

yea flarring might help with a seal but with a good hose clamp it shouldnt leak, but i have no expierience with fuel pressure gauges, but i want one so i can see what happens to fuel pressure when i pass the 4000 mark
