i planned on giving the ground man a good scare by swinging back and forth with the tree once i relived the pressure.i was all braced for it,but the sucker was dry rotted below grade.couldn't and still don't believe it to this day.it was leafed out nicely,hardly a stick of dead wood it in.not a sign of anything at all to provide any warnings.

along that line,,ive seen,,one tooo many ash trees,,next to a house,,that the whole bottom was rotted out...and they wanted other good trees cut.................
