The olives can be found at better injection pump repair shops. The line from the filter to the injection pump requires an olive on both ends. They are 5/16 for that line. Careful installing them. The line has a flair on the end of it. That must be pushed deep into the brass female fitting to seal correctly. The line from the mechanical lift pump has a 3/8 olive on the end that goes into the filter head. Not on the other end where it goes into the lift pump if you still have a mechanical lift pump.

Lets talk about the ecm. I started to notice that my truck was going into limp mode. Disconnect bats and resets everything is good. Think ecm is next on list

If it resets, then it's working properly. It's just very picky about what range of readings it gets from various sensors. Chase down those sensors before you condemn the TCM.

And so it continues code 63. Od light flashing. New coil pack tps . Had a load of rock on the truck last night prolly a ton. And truck was acting like a damn fool. Has to be trans control computer

The TCM needs a signal from the following. Tach, TPS, TRS, TOT, BARO and BOO.

Yes Boo, Brake On Off switch. Don't worry about that one, or the BARO.

Code 63 is showing up while the vehicle is loaded. Good chance the converter is on its way out.

I brought it in shop yoday and looked it over throughly. Came across the fill up tube for tranny have a hole from rubbing on something. So I topped it off to level. Ran like a champ shifted great tommorow I will put a bead weld on it to seal it.

You did the Transmission Oil Temp sensor with a new solenoid pack.

TRS Transmission Range Sensor. This is the updated MLPS. It tells the TCM what gear the tranny is in. Parts stores like to call this a Neutral Safety Switch. It's on the drivers side of the tranny.

Im back more issues with tranny. Wont shift out of 1st blows tons of white smoke before it finally does shift. Ip going bad maybe? ????
