Sounds like you're on the right path. I'm pretty stoked it's working good too.
Do you really need the back heat exchanger since you'll be carrying boards back there? I've been thinking about getting a webasto heater for my van. They don't use much diesel and would be great for camping. On the other hand I'm looking to add a middle seat and it would be nice to have heat for that.
