Max fuel consumption for IDI

I am thinking I am going to put another filter/water separator on my truck when I install the electric pump and I was just wondering if anybody knows what the necessary gph/lph rating is. Some seat of pants figuring says about 10ish gph (15 mpg, 75 miles per hour, then double that number because everything should be able to support at least twice what you are actually going to do with it).

Any thoughts?

i think you're going to pump alot more than that which is returned to the tank.

The stock pump, and your new Facet, both flow 30gph, so the engine uses less than that. Maybe 1/4 or so goes back to the tank.
