Lubricant addatives for the t19?

While speaking with my neighbor I learned that there are some additivas for the t19 to help with the issues of hard shifting, he mentioned "fish oil" from ford, does anyone know of anything like that? I looked at the local kragen, but saw nothing only Lucas oil stabilizer, anyone tried that?

there is lucas for trannys too. Sorry I don't know about that fish oil.

Ford used to have a LS additive that had whale oil in it, that is probably what he is referring to.

The old T18 / T19 is fairly bulletproof. Hard shifting could be caused by worn synchro's or the clutch dragging.

Synthetic gear oil slicks them up a little, but won't fix worn/broken parts.

I do believe I have multiple problems, I still plan to pull the transmission, but I changed the fluid and found...

Transmission does shift smoother, but chutch still drags so an adjustment is in order and yes, it has the big firewall mod.
