I finally got the IDI pulled out the other day. I'm about a year behind on my IDI to 12v converison. Tryin to find a 2in body lift is about impossible. I have performance accessory lift and year later it's the wrong one. Truck is an 86 F350 2wd IDI srw crewcab. Any suggestions so I can get done with this.

Your stupid to buy a kit TBH. I made that same mistake with my bronco. was a 3" body.

Go to walmart, or sporting goods store, but hockey pucks (like 2 dollars a piece) and drill out a 3/8 hole in the center. (i think its 3/8s or you can upgrade to 1/2 inch like the kit you bought will already have.

Pucks are right at 1" thick, 2 per body/bed bolt and your golden.

will need either 20 or 24 pucks, so figure about 50 bucks after tax. I would have saved roughly $70 if i had learned of this method first, more if you add in the cost to buy grade 8 bolts, as my pref body lift kit came with grade 5s
