No details at all, I'd love to spend $800 on something I know nothing about.

i talked to the guy that makes that pump for about an hour one time, i asked for specific ammounts of fluid increase exc and he couldnt give an awnser also he said tell me what HP you would like to make and we willmake it flow the fuel so i said could it flow enough to make 500 at the wheels and he said no problem, but it seems a little sketchy cuz he could never give me real details as to how much more it flows, so ide like to know what everyone can find out

It's all kind of pointless to inquire unless your ready to fork over the cash. Any good pump rebuilder can juice up a pump. How much it flows, is mainly a question of how much your wallet flows. He can't give you any numbers because he hasn't made it yet, and isn't going to until you've made a commitment. ;Really

It tickles me how everyone is obsessed with HP numbers. He also can't tell you cause he doesn't know. Your brand new rebuilt engine is going to make different horsepower than one that has 100,000, and they'll both be different from one with 200,000 not to mention elevation, quality of fuel, and everything in between. I always loved it when someone came in the speed shop and wanted to know how much horsepower we could build into their engine...I always said "A top fueler can make a couple thousand, would you like those options?" Would have been no problem to build them one, my boss had built MANY over the years, so if they'd have had the cash, we could have built it!

 My question is....what is he basing this number off of? I seriously doubt he's ever seen a 450-500HP IDI, much less knowing what fuel is needed for such an engine. I'd say he's BS'ing.cookoo
