I'm looking to swap a 5.9 12 valve in place of my F250's 7.3 liter. I found a motor from a 1995 Dodge 2500 with 160,000 miles on it. The guy has it advertised as a long block only, no IP or injectors. He's asking $300 for it. Would this be a good starting point for a swap? I would probably just get bigger injectors and a reman or new IP to replace the missing parts.

Also, do long blocks usually include the turbo and exhaust manifold? I asked him the same question but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks.
