Locking hubs

i have a question about buying a new set of locking hubs. Right now i have a dana d50 up front but i am always on the look out for a dana 60. I always thought that then dana 50 and 60 used the same locking hubs, but some of the parts places list the dana 50 as having 30 splines and the dana 60 as 35 spline. I dont want to buy 200 dollar hubs for the 50 and then find a dana 60 and not be able to use the hubs. So does anyone know it there the same or different.

A Dana 60 has 35 spline inners, but from the factory, they run 30 spline outers. You can get 35 spline outers, but thats only if you are beating on the truck and need the beef.

okay so the both run 30 splies but you can get upgraded axle shafts that have 35 splines on them right?

stock for stock 50 and 60 hubs are the same.

cools thanks guys now i can order my hubs and actually have four wheel drive for the next snow storm lol
