Greetings
I have done a fair amount of searching here and on the general Googler .
I have trashed my Sterling 10.25" 4.10 Dual wheel Rearend.
Searching for a replacement now.
I can find Later model Superduty rears some with Disc brakes.;-)
Has anyone done this swap and what is the workload.
E brake???
Spring perch width vs frame width
Spring width 2 1/2 inch vs 3 inch
Thought I would post this in 911 but then not really an emergency as I can borrow a truck for a bit.
Thanks for any advice
Tim

I think all the c&c's changed to 3" wide springs for 99+. The frame is 34" standard, but not clear what the spring/perch spacing is. Wheel bolt pattern is metric.

I might get a whole diff with springs and hangers in one shot. It will usually be a Dana 80 too, unless it's a 5.4L gas.

The older c&c 10.25" uses a heavier housing and wheel bearings than a most 10.5".

R&P swap is do-able. Watch for yoke/spline wear. Use a crush-sleeve eliminator too.
