Kent Moore timming unit?

There is a local shop around here that is closing down and they are selling all of there tools. I happen to know them pretty good. I drove down there yesterday in the idi to wish him the best and it was a hard thing to see them close. Anyways he found this old timming unit and said he would sell it to me for $25.00? Is that worth that? he hooked it up real quick and the light started going off after we changed the batteries. What do yall think? it is a Kent Moore Tach-n-time J33300.

On Ebay I found two of them. I have the same one you are looking at . For $25.00 if it has both the pluse and lumiy pickups you are good to go.

Do they have a vehicle lift that they are going to sell as well? Dad has been looking for a lift for his shop and he might be interested.

Yeah they do have some lifts, iirc they have Four of them. Ill get prices and such on them. The owner said everything that was left in the building is for sale. He has a huge sign out front! Idk if it has everything in there the older man said it looked like it was missing the luminosity/magnectic probes are those expensive?

Don't know how much the probes cost, but i have timed my truck with that timing machine. It is with magnetic probe and a clamp to the #1 injector line and according those to it tells you your timing and rpm if you have set the offset correctly. With these engines you don't need the luminosity probe if you have magnetic probe and and that clamp for injector line. Very easy to use and if it works it's worth more than that $25, so i would buy it...

hesutton: I went and talked to the shop owner yesterday...They are going to donate the vechile lifts to a local vocational program. That is where the owners new job is. Sooo they will not be selling the lifts.

But i picked up my timming unit along with a complete set of snap on metric wrenches and sockets all for 150 bucks. It goes from size 4mm all they way up to 36mm. And it had line wrenches and crows feet in the box too. Is there anyhitng else yall need i can see if they have it?

Do they hae the special tool to install freeze plugs in our 6.9 or 7.3 motors. The Rotunda part number is 303-D045... The oldr part number was D83T-6015-B..... Thanks

Sorry guys the plae is locked up and a big for sale sign is on the front shop doors. Soo i guess they got everything out idk i drive by it everyday so if i see it open or seen the owner ill ask for those tools or see what he has left and post it up ill keep yall up too date.
