I have one in a 72 F250 with a manual tranny and Eaton OD behind it. I have been impressed with its reliability and efficiency so far. Does anyone have any experience owning or working on them? I am reluctant to mess with turning it up, but if I decide to I'd like to know what others have done with them.
It's a 5.8L engine with similar bore and stroke as a 6BT. I assume it's similar in heft and ability. I have heard some say it is very reliable and will last a long long time. Any comments?
