Coolant... I like the Zerex HD ELC coolant. It's an OAT coolant that won't dissolve older-style seals used in these engines. Some newer-formula coolants will.
I Think the Zerex G05 coolant also meets the same spec. Napa carries the Zerex line.

Yes, the Zerex G-05 does meet the spec for older engines. That's what I use in my IDI.

To the member that wonders how " that much water" can cause the engine to hydrolock. Well easy answer. The heads are flat. The pistons miss hitting the heads by about 40 thousands. No fluid clearance in that area.

Yes, I am well aware of the small size of the combustion chamber and the small (not zero) clearance for fluid. What I was referring to in surprise is that water has to be able to enter the cylinder from the cowl, past the cowl seal, accumulate in the air cleaner lid until it comes down along the bolt, then into the intake runners until the few cc's in a .040" high cylinder 4" in diameter pool on top the piston... obviously it does happen, we read about it here often enough.

Just need a 3/8 sealing washer. Any parts store should have one.
