I have no plugs, burned them up last year when I left them on all day by accident (manual switched). Under 40F I use the block heater; 40-60F it takes a quite a few cranks and some feathering of the pedal; but over 60F, esp around 80F like it is now, I can start in 4 secs or less of cranking, no pedal. If I give it any pedal over 80F on a cold start it won't crank, which is weird, but it cranks right up cold as long as I don't.

I've had big-block gassers that were harder to crank! (400 pontiac, for example)

Mine will take a little cranking but it will get going. I usually do a 6 second glow on a got day, fires right up
