interesting truck on CL

looks like a neat truck, and that is an awesome hauler bed, but that V8 cummins diesel is what really piques my interest.

I doubt it does have a Cummins but its possible.
They did make quite a few different little v8's.

Yeah, Gary..why aren't under-the-hood pics required these days? Calling it a Cummins raises a few questions, for sure.

If it were a cummins v8, i think the front end would be alot lower.

Leaning towards idi as well but it could be kinda fun if it it had a 504 wedged in there for purely the shock value.

I emailed asking him to see under hood pics, he kept saying he would, I kept saying still don't see it, so I guess they finally got posted. Should I tell him it's not a cummins? lol

Hmm...nice cummins huh? If they could read it would tell them what they had...lol The only v8 cummins i remember is the 555 and the 903. Had a 79 white road boss in diesel mechanic class with a 903 v8 and wow what a sound...all too big for a pickup.

Truck needs a superduty chassis, turbo, and overdrive. Nice looking and seems put together well.

He responded when I told him it wasn't a Cummins...actually said thanks for the information, that he was selling it for a friend...so apparently neither knew, but didn't cop an attitude when I told him what it was.

Just checked, he changed the listing, so not all bad...
