Injector shims size ?

As the title, I need the OD & ID for the injector shims and is there a writeup anywhere showing the pressure increase for different thickness's ?

Even if someone only could determine the spring rate one would be able to extrapolate a crude thickness to pressure chart...similar to coil springs on a car expressed in #'s per inch travel..

So it's a trial and error type thing? I have a friend with a tester and I think...8 good injectors in my truck. If that turns out to be the case but there is a significant difference in pop pressure I was thinking of trying to match them or pay a shop to do it.

I may be wrong but I think shim height will be different due to spring stiffness. Shimming older springs will prolly need more shim versus newer tighter springs.

I think Gary and Russ are the ones for this 'un.

We messed with this at the 05' IDI Weekend. It was definitely trial and error.

US Diesel has the shims but they need od, id.
