Hi Guy's, I have a 04 F550 6.0L with 70,000 on it.Since I've had it, I had to have injectors replaced,I have another one going bad on it now and my question is this: How hard is it to replace the injectors and would running a lighter oil like 5-40 help keep them from fouling. I'm very good about my filter changes. Any help would be great.

Thanks

For some reason 6.0's like to have their injectors all changed and not individually or so I have been told.

I don't believe that changing the viscosity of the oil will make any difference.

I am currently running 10W30 motorcraft diesel engine oil as per the owners manual for winter driving.

I heard the same thing too, and the only reason I'm doing it this way is $$$$.Have you ever changed injectors yourself?

If you have multiple injector issues, you need to check the fuel pressure (no less than 45 psig at WOT).
