This is a little on topic I guess so i'll post here. Early kit has lines out center of caps and are smaller. late kit has lines on outside and are larger correct? What concerns would be noted if there was an early kit placed on a late engine? I'm curious, I was looking at mine the other day and it has the "early" kit on it. When I bought the truck, guy said the engine was out of a '93! So either he lied or it's got the wrong kit on it. Guess i'll have to pull a casting # and find out what year it is. Engine has a banks sidewinder on it as well if it would influence anything.

Doesn't seem like anything to drastic could be the result of getting them mixed up.....?

The kits are ordered and you can swap them without any effects
