Don't hate me for being early. Its just me wanting to get on the road. I have all my "extras" stowed away and some "treasures" that I have found over the years to share with all. Brakes are fine... Oil was changed yesterday.... Tanks topped off and a generous amount of Stanadyne Performance Formula in too. Plenty behind the rear seat and I will be picking up 3 gallons of it in Pheniox Az. Rally jitters... Nope, not here....:D

How much more can you stuff behind that rear seat before you get a bruise on your forehead :rotflmao

Wow... Short of rebuilding an engine on the road, you should be covered! I still haven't decided if I might stop in for a day or 2, much shorter drive though..

All this talk about the Rally makes me what to jump in the truck and head that way, but finances will keep me from making it this year. I'm filtering up all the WMO I can get my hands on right now. I could drive across the US and change my oil when I get there... That'd give me 12 quarts of oil, and once mixed with 3 gallons of diesel, that would give me 6 gallons for the way back I guess... :rotflmao:D

I could drive up for cheap(homebrew B100) but unless I could find someone locally in KY willing to trade fuel for chemicals or skilled labor making fuel. Probably have to pay to drive back.

I'd love to know your truck's weight, when you leave for KY!

Being packed and ready is a dream I start to have about a week before we leave, which turns into a nightmare when I wake up and realize I forgot something.

Good to hear something is going right for someone! I'm about ready to give up. I'm really starting to hate working on my truck. Havent even started to work on the camper yet...
