IDI head weight.

Has anyone on here actually weighed an assembled 7.3L IDI head to see what this hernia buster weighs? ....just curious. ............

That's kinda what I was thinking that my back was telling me. I'm just curious if anyone knew for sure.

About 5lbs... at least that's about the amount of force I put on my big chain-fall hoist [emoji16]

No way am I going to lift those chunks of lead by hand... I have enough herniated discs already. [emoji51]

They come buy it honestly. If you have ever had the heads off an IH SV V8 (266, 304, 345, 392), SV heads are about the same size and weight. Must have been something in the water cooler at IH Engineering....
