After reading a few threads, I realize I have a lot to learn about these E4ODs....

BUT, my problem is when accelerating from a stop at normal 1/2 throttle, the truck accelerates kinda slow, until it gets to about 1,900-2,000 RPM then it picks up and then shifts at around 2,300-2,400 RPM. It happens from 1-2 and 2-3.

Also, it acts really bad when driving more than 20 miles, and i try to park the behemoth, especially parallel parking. I go forward and back a few times, then the engine really lugs and shudders and tries to lunge and almost dies. But last time it happened, I threw it in neutral and it all went away instantly (makes me think trans problems)

Also, it shifts like it has a shift kit. I found a tag on the drivers side saying it was rebuilt in year 2000

What say ye oil burning experts?

Its in a 1991 F-350 Crewcab 4x4, if that helps

yes.you have a massive E4OD problem that needs to be resolved asap

your converter clutch is not unlocking when it should be.start by inspecting, repairing if needed or simply cleaning with electrical cleaner, your solenoid pack plug located on the pass side of trans behind the heat shield.
