I Got a Thingy Missing...

The white plastic roller for the door striker.
Where can I get one or, didn't somebody make one using a piece of PVC pipe?
And of course it busted-off the passenger door > the one that barely gets used.
Thanks, Ray

It's called a door striker bushing. They're still available. Dorman (HELP!) is the most common aftermarket brand for them.

Towcat posted what you can find at the fake parts stores these day in the help section. Usually they come several sizes in the pack. They also sell the complete door srticker with this plastic bushing in place. But its costly. I keep the spares... In my glove box...:D

Ok, so before I continue beating on that bolt...what's the trick to getting that damn bolt out of the bracket so I can slid the new plastic bushing in?
I tried and tried to 'un-thread it'...ain't happening.
If I beat that damn thing out the threads will be wiped out.

i've never had a problem with a hardened torx socket and a breaker bar. if you kill it it's not the end of the world. they have complete new ones are the local parts house.

The part is off the truck, the problem is, the threads are much wider/bigger than the hole in the bracket...meaning, I can't get the bolt off of the bracket!
