Hydroboost pedals?

i'm converting my '97 to hydroboost (the idi obs is the same pedals so it applies to the idi fourm....:sly). the guy that i bought the truck off of has a hb unit but swears the pedal assembly is different from vac brakes to hb brakes. anyone that swapped experience any issues? thanks.

apparently....92 up pedals for HB or vacuum are same...PRE 92 are different...FYI!

This is confirmed by others on here, every well known and respected members...not like myself.....I have NOT personally confirmed that the 92 up pedals are the same,

However I do know that the 91 down are different and so are the 98 up superduty trucks!..

The auto trans rigs below the 92 year are differant peddles. The brake pin is placed closer to the peddle shaft by about 3/4 inch. Form what I have found is all standard brake peddles are much differant from the auto peddles. The standard peddle shafts are much larger diameter and they need to come out as an assembly of both the clutch and brake peddle assembly. Thats a big job too working on both sides of the firewall. I don't care much for laying on the floor under the dash much either.
