Those of you who are wanting to switch to hydroboost brakes but are struggling to find boosters with the output shaft included. There is a replacement shaft available for them. There is a big bored version and a small bored version. When I was working on installing my system I used the small bore version.

Small bore:

I bought Motorcraft hydroboost for my 95 F350. (F450 application) It came with the pushrod.

I rounded over a hardened bolt. I think it was 3.25 in of 3/8 bolt but it's been a long time.

The ford unit comes with the push rod along with the little return\holder gizmo.... nearly none of the aftermarket ones do.
so this could be a godsend as ford units are at 2x aftermarket units...

I can't find a Ford unit, every source I look up says "discontinued"... any idea where to find it? Looking for part number E8TZ-2005-B correct?

They are discontinued. I bought a new one a couple years ago for my Bronco. I'm planning on going with a Superduty hydroboost when the time comes. It will take some work on the mounting plate to get it to fit.

I had purchased mine through RockAuto. I looked and sure enough not listed anymore. That's a shame.

I’ve got a couple, I’ve been working on putting together a hydro boost conversion kit to offer but the availability dropped out almost overnight. I’m going to use the super duty boosters instead, just going to require more work.
