So I've got a BRB-37 booster that I need the fitting sizes for... it's a custom installation with what will be custom hoses. I have the power steering pump fittings but can't be sure of what the booster is... I know its 5/8 but don't know anything else...

I thought I'd also share what the angle looks like when you use the vacuum booster pedal with the arm upside down... pretty nasty angle and I can see why people have hard pedals!

I'll be relocating my pin the 3/4'' to rectify

Or if someone has a picture of the hose end maybe I can infer what style it is...

Thanks

It looks like a flair fitting on the hydroboost usually you can go to any place that rents heavy equipment and they can make you hoses and they usually have a good variety of fittings my local napa does this and usually has any fitting I could ever think of

Ok... looks like the gates 366200 hose fits our trucks with hydroboost... o'Reilly's has a great picture of what I think is the hydroboost side...

I went through this last year, here is all the fittings I know.

Power steering pump: Russell 648060 M16-1.5 male o-ring to AN6
(Note: some older power steering pumps use a imperial fitting, 5/8”-18 male o-ring to AN6 Russell 648030)

~80-97 Hydroboost: inlet Russell 648040 11/16”-18 o-ring to AN6
Outlet Russell 648030 5/8”-18 o-ring to AN6

05+ Superduty Hydroboost: inlet Russell 648080 M18-1.5 male o-ring to AN6 ( Note: there is a small tube that the superduty Hydroboost units use that converts a M16-1.5 to M18-1.5, when you look up the line “pump to Hydroboost” it will say M16-1.5 for both ends but that will not work if your missing that tube so use M18-1.5 instead)
Outlet Russell 648060 M16-1.5 male o-ring to AN6

~80-97 steering box: inlet Russell 640330 1/2” inverted flare to AN6
Outlet Russell 640380 5/8”-18 inverted flare to AN6

99-04 superduty steering box: inlet Russell 648010 1/2”-20 male o-ring to AN6
Outlet Russell 648030 5/8”-18 male o-ring to AN6

05+ superduty steering box: inlet Russell 648060 M16-1.5 male o-ring to AN6
Outlet Russell 648080 M18-1.5 male o-ring to AN6

Thank you!

Went to my local parts store and suprisingly they had the Russell fittings...
648040 and 648030.

Although my truck isn't up and running yet I can feel the fittings bottom out on the oring so I'm pretty confident I got the right ones... :)
