the only issue I have with using a mustang hydroboost is the weight of the vehicles.
yes hydroboosters are mostly the same, but the mustang one, I highly doubt that you will beable to bolt the F450 master to it.
which will make you oblong the holes in the master.
and that...
I am not comfortable with... and I do custom stuff left and right.

Thank you, that's what I'm looking for. I'll try for an f450 or chevy truck unit.

I already have the pump with dual return and the mounting bracket for the pump. Just need hydroboost if I'm going to fit the new body.

I put the F-Superduty booster in my '95 F350. I notched the MC holes for fit (fender washers too). I kept the same pedals, but moved the pivot pin up 3/4" for proper alignment. Tee'd the return lines together at the p/s pump.

Stopped awesome after that.

What year was the booster from? Was it the F-450 booster?

Ok. I found one from a 96. Can't find the older ones, at least not where I've looked.

92-97 should be the same. I ordered from rockauto.... it tells you what years they fit.

I'm good. I've been through the stickies and haven't found one that answered the question I was asking. But I did get a coolant filter and lift pump installed by following stickies.

i think John is confusing the tech articles section with the stickies. I know there's an article or two in there covering hydro units.

I ended up with one from a 96 F450. The pin is the same as the Jeep brake lever and the rod only needs to be offset 1.5". I'm planning to make a spacer that put's the HB/MC 1.5" off the firewall.
