I haul a large / heavy slide in camper and lets just say you better have plenty of time for stopping. My truck is an 1989 F350 4x4 7.3 5spd. I found an 1987 F450 2 wheel drive diesel with 5spd and they are parting it out. Which parts do I need and how much should I pay? Will these parts be a bolt in application?

You will need the brake peddle. Also get the power steering pump or at least the plastic reservoir that has the 2 return line fittings. Of course you want the hydroboost itself and if possible get the master cylinder because its the 1 5/16 bore. It works the best on our trucks. Depending on the hose condition try to get all them too. I think $150.00 is a fair price but I'm not seeing these parts either.

I just picked up the booster, MC, pedal, and hoses for $100.00 on Friday. The pump was gone with the engine.

Two options on your pump....I bought a rebuilt pump from autozone for the f-superduty that had two returns. They took my single port in exchange......
I also have a dual port reservoir only here if your looking.

I'll probably go the autozone route on the pump. I have been kicking around the idea of going to the van saginaw pump and doing a serpentine setup as well.
The rebuild kit that supposedly exists is to rebuild the hydroboost unit, but I haven't found a part number yet.

Been trying to do that for 5 years, yaha...no luck so far...no one has ever once proven to me a saginaw and serp setup even exists for the van...be it basic van and or cube van none exist that I've been able to prove YET....old school V belts ya ha
That was quite funny and literaly made me laugh reading that^^^^^

Yeah, that may be true. I was thinking of the van pump and then doing a serpentine conversion. I realize that there may not be vans with the serpentine, but I can probably find a serpentine pulley to fit the pump. And if all else fails and i'm really determined I could make one on the cnc.
However autozone does list a saginaw style pump as well as a serpentine belt for a 1993 E350 with a 7.3.

They may indeed show one, however is it available and can you find the feckin bracket to mount it too?
You US folk have a bigger source of parts to draw on, Much greater than I in Canada, thus I'd love to see this pan out.
I have a 5.0L gas engine saginaw pump van serp bracket and Ford truck C2 pump bracket and they are quite a bit different.
I've considered CUTTING the van's pump bracket apart, and having it welded to my IDI serp bracket even..but I"m just not sure that would work on that cheap thin cast aluminum....
