If you hit those corner posts on something, they will hit the body. Just sayin'
Travis..

1/4 inch wall on the bumpers, 5/16ths mounts, practically solid posts, the holes were cut the posts put through the bumper and welded on the sides too....how would that work??? :confused:cookoo haha my friend has the same setup on his scout with SOLID posts and they're alot closer to the body than mine, he's smacked many trees and they've never come close to touching. ;Sweet

I like it! a filler between the gate and the bumper would make it perfect, maybe diamond plate

Sounds pretty stout then. If your buddy hasn't had any problems, I guess go with what you know.;Sweet Why the body lift? Was it necessary for the engine/trans combo:dunno I didn't read your whole build thread.

the body lift was a combo of more engine clearance and more room to clean the frame. oh and the added wheel clearance helps! ;Sweet
