How to set selling price

Justin's right- I'm in Albuquerque, NM.

The truck has definitely spent its time in NM. There is a very small rust spot on the bottom rear of the passenger side of the cab, and the clearcoat is peeling on the roof. Both of these blemishes are scheduled to be repaired next week by an excellent body shop here in Albuquerque.

I paid 8000 for it in 2003 when it had 70k miles on it. It was DEAD STOCK and purchased from the dealership where the original owner traded it in. I've done all the work myself, except for body work. I'm an ASE Master L1 certified tech, but I specialize in Toyotas.

It is a very nice truck but almost no one will pay over 5k for it. I wish I never need to sell mine bc I won't like to see it go for less than half of what I want for it. It sucks but unless You are not in a hurry they right buyer may not show up. I'm glad I wanted a CC when I was in the market for a truck.

Given the local market, I doubt I could really get what I need out of this truck. For now, we're still weighing our options, but having a paid-for truck is sure nice. I'll keep kicking tires, and if the right deal comes along, I'll likely keep the old IDI for a while, rather than sell it in a hurry to fund a newer truck. If I do it that way, I can hold out for what I really want for it when I sell it, and not be motivated to sell it cheap to get a shiny new one.

the reversed style for infants is a real PITA on a SC truck. I had mime belted in the middle so it hung out between the driver's and passenger buckets in the front. Not the most comfortable of a setup.
It didn't take long for her to grow out of the infant seat though and it was actually easier with the frontward facing baby seat in the back bench.

Yeah, I have the seat(front facing) mounted in the middle on the rear bench and I can just turn to the right to put my daughter in and buckler her up. The rear facing seat was a pain, but we used the jeep for most of that time unless we needed to use the truck.

What are the chances of finding a crewcab frame and cab that 4x4. Then transfer over all the goodies from your truck. Maybe a cc with a blown motor and wrecked front end.... Just thibking and not reading....
