I have used this for a couple of years now as a work vehicle. I bought it with 26,000 miles but I do believe it was 126,000. I have put on just over 25,000. Since getting the return lines straightened out and going to an electric fuel pump, I have just changed the oil and drive it. Put a new vacuum pump in soon after getting it, had to improvise as the one with the little shock absorber was not available. Its worked fine. Has a roof rack that lowers the ladder to you. New front rotors, pads and calipers. Already had new flex lines to front brakes. New master cylinder. Rear brakes have had new pads and all springs replaced. New cylinder in drivers side but one on the passenger would not let go of the brake line. Have the new cylinder and a flex line to the frame but have not had them installed. Service records indicated a new IP just a few thousand miles before I got it. This engine was so clean when I bought it I thought it may have just 26,000 on it. But it is still quite clean for the age. Change oil every 3000/3500.
I think the engine is worth more then the vehicle. Most don't want an old ambulance. But it runs great. Drive it anywhere. Great tires
