However it is a Magazine Quality truck, that makes it worth a little more,..:D

Realistically, if I had it on my lot I would ask $7,500.00. It is a beautiful, low mile truck that has some useful and tasteful modifications that certainly adds to the value.
Don't be afraid to ask what you want for the truck and if it sells, it sells. But you will have to do some nationwide advertising like Autotrader.com or E-bay.

It should not be that hard to sell that for what you want out of it.

Tell her to learn to drive a stick.:rotflmao
Seriously, once the kid moves to a forward facing seat it will be a great truck again. I regularly have two squirts in car seats in my supercab without problems. When my youngest was in a rearfacing, she took passenger seat and my wife rode b$%ch. We did several long road trips that way with limited complaints.
It sure beat having a truck payment:puke:.

I wouldn't sell it for anything under $6k and I'd bet that truck would get someone interested for $7k around these parts.

When I was doing my searches back in July, that truck would be worth $4K stock on KBB.com, and that's private party value. I haven't looked it up today, but I'd be willing to bet that the KBB value hasn't changed much. With all the extra's I would have given $7K for it if I had it at the time. That also means that I would have flown out to NM and drove it home to Indiana. I never liked the two tone brown paint job, but man that truck is in FINE shape. I can understand wanting to get more than $7K out of it, but with the age, that might be tough. Having said that, with only 110K on it, it's practically brand new, so the right buyer might be willing to cough it up. If you want $9K out of it, then I say put $9K on the window and be proud of such a good truck. If someone wants it, then great. Maybe you come down quite a bit. Even still, $9K isn't hardly going to make a dent on the cost of a new truck, especially if you are looking at a new diesel.

My first born is now 21 months old, and she's a big part of why I bought my truck. Before I had a '94 F150 regular cab 2wd work truck. Why they would ever call a 2wd a work truck, I don't know. Anyhow, you can always put the car seat in the front rear facing until she's big enough to turn it around (about 6 months). I say that because the 92 didn't have passenger side front air bags. I don't know exactly what kind of seat you have in front, but if the passenger side adjusts independently from the driver, then you should be good to go as your daughter gets older/taller. My daughter is VERY tall, and she currently has no legroom in front of her car seat. I have a bench seat, so I'm going to have to swap it out for some kind of 40/20/40 so that the passenger seat can slide forward and make room for her. We are trying for a second, and if we are successful, there will come a point where we won't all fit in the truck (again), but that point would be 3 or 4 years down the road. In the mean time, I can save that $500 a month truck payment, and stick it in the bank. Besides, unless you're trying to haul something at the same time, there's no reason that everyone can't pile into your 4runner. 4 doors are nice, but it sounds like you're family already has one. The only way to upgrade to more rear leg room is to go to a true crew cab, but a new one costs more than I own on my house, and I highly doubt that they are as dependable or low maintenance as and IDI.

I admit, that I like ABS breaks, but the best way to avoid a wreck is to drive with some common sense. After that, I'd say a good set of tires is next on the safty list, and I'm not talking about mud and snow, or AT tires. I'm talking about good traction on wet pavement, and icy roads. AT tires look cool, but aren't worth much for most of us. They work great for playing around, but 90% (or more) of our driving is on the highway. I've seen stock radial tires drive through a field so wet that the frame was almost dragging, but still didn't get stuck.

ABS breaks and air bags mostly protect you when you hit something head on. Aside from that, its hoping and praying unless you happen to have side impact air bags as well. Not sure if anyone has those in a truck yet or not. Still, when it comes to someone hitting you, extra mass has its advantages.

At the end of the day, its your truck, your $$, and your choice. I'd just hate to see you take a loss and get rid of such a good dependable truck with so much life left in it because you'll always look back and regret it.

Good luck,
Mark

I wouldn't take any less than $6k. I paid $6k for my truck and as nice as it was, still wasn't as nice as yours. My truck had a full ATS intake/exhuast setup, 117k miles, super clean interior, body is an 8 and pretty much stock. This is what it looked like the day I brought it home.

I paid $6500 for mine with 80K miles and a Banks Sidewinder II, 5 years ago.

In these times, I think finding a person that will know, and appreciate what You are selling is going to be tough.

Good Luck either way.

As far as the ride goes, I've got air bags on the rear of mine. With Velvet Ride shackles, Bilstiens, and 30PSI, it rides pretty dang good empty.

As always you have to do what is right for you and your family. Personally I don't care for the newer stuff. Even Dad's new Tundra, yeah it's nice but it doesn't do anything for me. I doubt you'd ever get out of it what you have in it. Having said that I think if i really wanted to sell it I would list it for maybe 7500-8000 and have some wiggle room to come down a bit...or if you don't get any offers you like.... just keep it. About your wife and being able to drive it... there's really no reason she couldn't learn to drive a ZF5 unless she has some physical disability...or flat out refuses to learn. They are as smooth and easy as it gets IMO.

My gut reaction to your initial post was 6-8K, if you can afford to wait for the right buyer. I see most are in agreement with that range, although the high side will be tough to get, but I'm assuming it could be a really nice truck, that is better in person than in pictures. There is a certain reality that says that really isn't a lot of money, and it's probably worth more to you than anyone else. We've all also seen our share of people sell their beloved IDI's only to find themselves wanting to be back in one. My best recommendation to you would be to try and get your new ride without letting this one go. Take it off the road, winterize it if you must, save the money on insurance and yearly fees, but keep it around. The car seat era will end so quickly it will make your head spin, and the next thing you know, Junior is wanting his own truck. Just think of the pride you will have if that truck could be your old one? :dunno

I wouldn't sell it. The rear car seat thing doesn't last long (trust me), and doesn't sound like your wife likes to ride in or drive your truck anyway. The only time we take my crew cab is if there is no other option.

There is no way I'd give up the standard tranny........ really how often would she ever have to drive your truck? And, if it were an emergency, I'm sure she'd figure it out.

I've ridden and driven '99 and '06 F350 diesel's. It is a little better ride, but not much. You have not doubt you are riding in a diesel pickup.

Safety features? Honestly, the best safety feature is an expericenced, alert, and cautious driver behind the wheel. I'm sorry, but a drunk fool will still kill you in your IDI or a 2011 F350.

KEEP THE TRUCK!:backoff

If you sell it...........we still love you man.

Like has been said, keep it if you can, but it is your choice to make.
I'd definitely put 8 or 9k on it if that is what you want for it. Then you have some room to haggle. If you were to put just 3k on it you would still have guys trying to talk you down even with it being low miles and in such nice shape.
If I could afford it I'd give 7-8k for as I have seen the work you have put in it through this site. I know you have taken care of it.
Hopefully you can work it so that you can keep it.
