i have a full tranny rebuild kit in my room waiting to go in my truck.. I have had my zf5 apart about 4 times for various reasons and isnt THAT hard to pull apart. The syncros are actually metal disk looking things that are replaced. The problem is sometimes it wears the gear as well and you now must buy more than just syncros or you will be in the same boat as before. Just have to pull it apart and see. ;Sweet

Diesel_Brad gave me a number to a tranny shop that he buys his parts from..VERY VERY reasonable and they shipped them to me. I remember brad saying he can give that guy a zf5 and 600$??? (dont quote me) and he will rebuild the entire thing. That kind of gives you an idea. I already have new bearings in my tranny so i jsut got a full syncro kit and seal package for 250? shipped. Ill see if i can dig up his number. Diesel_Brad might beat me to it.
